ACCOUNTS

Multiple Accounts

Are forbidden. IP address will be automatically checked and multiple account holders will be banned without warning or chance for redemption. This is automatically done so don't tempt fate. If you feel there may be an IP clash due to family members using the same address then please notify the administration before further accounts are made.

Accounts cannot be baby sat by friends, there is a vacation setting and this should be used.

Names

Cannot be offensive or derogatory in any way and are such subject to all the rules for posting that are shown on the 26Horses Forums.

Property

By agreeing to the terms and conditions displayed on this page you, the reader are agreeing that all resources on accounts accessible by yourself and the account itself are loaned to players for purely entertainment purposes but are still ultimately property of the 26Horses company and may not be sold or bought for any denominations of any external currency to the game, any services or out of the goodness of your own heart. By agreeing the player is also acknowledging that all content in the game is the property of 26horses and should not be copied, stolen or duplicated by any means.

Attempting to do so or successfully doing so will result in an immediate ban and potential prosecution.

GAME CHAT

Follows all the rules for posting as outlined below:

POSTING IN CHAT

2. External Links.

- Nothing offensive. This is mostly just nudity and sexual media. Posting real life pictures of users is banable.

3. Topics to Avoid.

- Anything regarding Religion, Politics or Sexual Orientation. Only sexual topics will be immediately deleted and the creators warned or banned depending on the severity of the topic. The other topics can cause hostility in the chat. Use at your own peril.

4. Language.

- Be polite, avoid swearing or we'll have to invoke a censor and penalties.

5. Other Content.

- Gory, Graphic, Offensive or Pornographic and any other image of a sexual nature are NOT Allowed. Chat messages containing these will be removed and the player may be banned. Please use good judgement on this.

6. No Plagiarism.

- Do not steal other people's works and post them in the chat as your own.

7. Selling and Legality.

- Do not attempt to sell any products or discuss illegal activities.

8. Spamming.

- Spamming the game chat is also forbidden. Spamming the game chat will be considered any incoherent messages, any messages that do not form words, or smiley's that are not a reaction to a written message. Spamming the game chat will ALSO be considered posting the same message/single word repeatedly or in parts over several different messages.

CHAT ACCOUNTS

1. No Impersonation

- Impersonation means trying to be someone else. This isn't allowed on this forum and you will be banned without prior notice. Role play is legal (and encouraged) assuming it is known to be just Role playing.

Note: If someone beats you to using the name you wished to originally use this is just tough luck and not considered impersonation.

GAME STAFF

1. No calling out/treatment of staff members.

- Doing so will do nothing but get you in trouble. If you have an issue with a staff member, take it to PM on the forums, but keep it respectful. You may not always agree with a decision, and that is fine. The staff has a job to do, please let them do it. Remember that we are here to help you. The staff deserves your respect and should be treated with it. Disrespecting a mod or Admin will get you banned. There is to be NO public discussion on any action a mod or Admin takes. Ever. Members are not allowed to post messages from banned or suspended members.

2. No asking to be staff

- Please do not request to be added to the SGSL staff. If we'd like to bring you on board then we shall contact YOU. Do not attempt to self moderate the forum. Trying to prove what a great mod you'd make by in fact acting like one will have the opposite effect. When the time for staff expansion arrives, members will be contacted via PM or a public thread will be made calling for applications.

3. Contacting the Staff

- Should be done via PM about issues with users, mod actions and posting only. Suggestions and questions about the forums and games both have their own sections. Please remember to have patience. All the mods and Admins will likely be busy and as such it may take them a length of time to deal with your issue and even reply, we will always endeavour to get back to you within 48hours.

BEHAVIOUR

2. All Private Conversations are to be Kept Private

- Anyone posting conversations that were done via PM or IM will be warned. These conversations are private for a reason. This can also be considered baiting by posting a conversation with the goal of starting something.

3. Personal Information.

- Is absolutely to always be kept personal. You may post your own information so long as it follows the chat rules but you may never, ever post another players information including game statistics, ID's or real life names unless they have done so themselves first. Breach of this rule will result in an immediate ban.

4. Hacking.

- Attempting to or succeeding to hack any player account or any part of the game will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the game. Hacking is considered the possession of another players personal information related to the game and the subsequent use to gain access to their account or sale of this information. Hacking is further considered breaching any areas of 26horses domain that cannot be accessed from directly in the game without additional software, without the expressed permission of the 26horses company.

FAIR PLAY

These rules are here to keep the game as enjoyable and as fun as possible. In some cases they may seem constraining but have faith that the mods and admins are not monsters. We all enjoy competition and a bit of posturing, game politics and noob bashing as much as the next person. Just be wise, be responsible and enjoy the game without being verbally brutal. Let the attack logs do that.

NOTES ON PUNISHMENTS

- All punishments result in a ban. There are no warnings for breaching the game rules. Bans can be extended to a forum ban too depending on the severity.

- Punishments are given at the discretion of the game admins and moderators and ergo will be subject to some deviation on a case by case basis. Using this inconsistency as a defence will not be tolerated.

- The minimum ban is 24 hours.

- Your account will NOT be protected whilst you are banned and will be left to fend for itself. Furthermore a label will appear near your name highlighting the fact you have been banned.

- Ignorance of these rules is not a defence.

- Game personal messages cannot be directly policed by moderators and admins however if a player feels they are being bullied by a group or single player via game personal messages in a way that exceeds any form of role play they should feel free to contact the games team. However the number of received abusive messages from any one source will need to exceed FIVE. (You will be asked to produce these messages by a team member upon receiving your report).

-Time Wasting. Wasting the teams time by not following the rules for contact and when to report will be viewed in the same light as breaking the rules.

But other then that there are no rules between Men and War.
